Ylang-Ylang (Cananga odorata) Ylang-ylang has been used for hundreds of years in cosmetic products. it is considered to be an anti-seborrheic, which means that it balances overactive sebum production (thereby helping to control acne, oily skin and eczema.) It is used as a toner, an antiseptic, and to soothe skin irritations. In addition, it is considered a nervine (helping to relax the body.) It is also a sedative, a stimulant, and a tonic. Further, ylang-ylang is commonly used as an aphrodisiac.
