Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) An ancient oil used in India and Turkey, and was one of the important spices traded along the famous spice route to Constantinople. It has traditionally been valued as an antiseptic,  antibacterial, a healer of scars, a tonic, and a stimulant. It is commonly used for the healing of skin infections, dermatitis and acne. It moisturizes the skin and regulates sebum production.

Aromatic Description: Similar to geranium: fresh, floral, sweet

Skin Benefits: Heals scarring, wounds, acne

Common Uses: Sinusitis, cystitis, general fatigue, skin care

Energetics: Calming, comforting, diminishes anger

Blends Well With: Basil, bergamot, cedarwood, fennel, frankincense, geranium, lavender, lemongrass, lemon, neroli, rose, ylang-ylang

Recommended Skin Type: All skin types, especially acne-prone and oily
